What’s your best source of ideas or inspiration? For me, it is social media.
Social media can be a double edged sword. Some say it is useless and yet sometimes it’s a great way to connect to ideas that are trending.
For example, Instagram (love it as we do) is a bit leisure oriented to me because it tends to feature travel/style/foodporn to occupy time and entertain.

On the other hand, I find Twitter to be a goldmine of ideas. Some of the ideas are of course duds but often enough you chance upon something novel (to you) that can give insight to new ways of viewing the world.

The trick is making sure you curate who you follow. (protip: you can follow us! :D) The second trick is to ensure that you also follow people who challenge existing views so you don’t get into an echo chamber.
Like this tweet from a writer I respect.
Arguable. But always good to hear out an opposing view. https://t.co/NXL5DN7ToE

While a lot of personal finance or FIRE blogs talk a lot about numbers and investing and financial planning, I think it is good to expand the topics being discussed and keep learning. Twitter fits the bill for me. I can chance upon new ideas and learn more deeply via other sites and channels.
If you have a twitter handle or have someone great that you think we should follow, do comment and share it with us below.
